Lutong 4 Ton Fully Hydraulic Single Drum Vibratory Road Roller for Asphalt & Soil Compaction
4-Ton Road Roller Operation Guide! Labor-Saving and Convenient, Fast Compaction!
Lutong 4-Ton Fully Hydraulic Road Roller, Suitable for Earthwork and Asphalt Compaction!
Lutong's popular small road roller model—the LTS204H fully hydraulic single-drum vibratory roller—has a working weight of 4 tons and is suitable for road maintenance, construction site work, sports field
construction, and workshop floor compaction.
This 4-ton road roller features hydraulic drive, hydraulic steering, and hydraulic vibration. It's fully hydraulically operated, clutchless, gearboxless, and continuously variable, making it comfortable to drive,
highly efficient, and easy to operate and maintain.
The LTS204H road roller comes with two types of tires: smooth tires and tread tires. Smooth tires are suitable for asphalt pavement compaction, while tread tires are suitable for earthwork and other basic
engineering projects. You can choose the appropriate tires according to the actual needs of the work.
Now, let's take a look at how to operate this 4-ton fully hydraulic road roller.
After starting the engine, check the working system, control devices, and monitoring instruments. Once normal, operate the roller according to the following procedure:
1. Driving Operation: Push the forward/reverse handle from the neutral position to the running position to move the roller forward; pull it backward from the neutral position to move the roller backward.
The magnitude of the forward or backward movement of the forward/reverse handle will determine the driving speed. Pushing should be slow and gentle. Avoid operating too quickly or forcefully to prevent
damage to the machine. Do not pull (push) directly from the forward (reverse) position past the neutral position to the reverse (forward) position.
2. Braking Operation During Operation: Pull the forward/reverse handle from the driving position to the neutral position to apply the brakes.
3. Vibration Compaction Operation: Depending on the working conditions, vibration or static compaction methods can be selected.
Note:
(1) Before vibrating compaction, the diesel engine throttle control handle should be pulled to max, and then the vibration switch should be turned on. (2) Vibration can only be achieved at low speeds. (Working state)
(3) Do not vibrate when the roller is stationary.
(4) Do not vibrate on hard surfaces such as concrete.
4. Sprinkling Operation
The machine's sprinkler system is an electric sprinkler system, capable of simultaneously sprinkling water on both the front and rear wheels.
Note: The nozzles have small outlets. When adding water to the tank, ensure the water is clean to prevent sand and other debris from clogging the outlets. Check that the filter element of the filter installed at the
water pump inlet in the tank is functioning properly.
5. Stopping
(1) Stop vibrating.
(2) Slowly push the forward/reverse handle to the neutral position.
(3) Turn off the sprinkler system and stop driving.
(4) Adjust the throttle adjustment handle to the idle position and allow it to run at low speed for a period of time to allow the machine to cool down gradually.
