Single drum vibratory road roller for road construction
High compaction power and speed: The 14-ton single-drum vibratory roller
Machine Spotlight | You wouldn't realize how powerful a 14-ton roller is until you take a closer look!

Today, let’s talk about a 14-ton road roller.
The LT214B is a 14-ton operating-weight, single-drum vibratory roller from Lutong, featuring dual-amplitude vibration capabilities, powerful centrifugal force, and high static linear pressure.
It is designed for compacting non-cohesive materials—such as gravel, sandy soil, crushed stone, sand-gravel mixtures, rock fill, and semi-cohesive soils. Widely used in major infrastructure
projects—including highways, mining dams, airports, ports, and industrial sites—it delivers both rapid and high-quality compaction results.
As a flagship model in Lutong’s 14-ton lineup, the LT214B combines mechanical drive, hydraulic vibration, dual-amplitude settings, and hydraulic steering. It is a classic, high-performance,
and reliable machine that offers excellent value for money—a model that has remained a best-seller for years.
In terms of power, the LT214B is equipped with a Cummins diesel engine delivering 97 kW. It offers robust power, fuel efficiency, durability, and low maintenance costs, while also ensuring
successful cold starts in low-temperature environments. Overall, its powertrain delivers excellent performance across efficiency, reliability, and fuel economy.
Regarding vibration technology, the LT214B utilizes German-derived technology to ensure superior compaction results. It delivers centrifugal forces of 290/180 kN and offers high reliability,
simple maintenance, and low upkeep costs.
As for the braking system, the LT214B is equipped with both hand and foot brakes. It offers easy operation and excellent directional stability during braking; the braking action is smooth,
responsive, and gentle, ensuring safety throughout the work process. At the same time, this road roller features a spacious, well-lit cab and utilizes high-quality rubber components for
vibration damping; this significantly reduces vibration during the compaction process, ensuring operator comfort during operation.
